The DUT Scientific Consultation Workshop: Refining the Roadmap Towards Innovative Climate-Neutral Cities takes place on 26 February 2025 as part of a three-day UERA conference on Research Alliances for Climate-Neutral, Sustainable, and Equitable Urban Communities. The conference runs from 26 to 28 February 2025. It serves as a platform for bringing together a wide range of experts from academia, government agencies, industry, and civil society to strategize on how collaborative research can drive impactful, actionable solutions that benefit urban centres, promoting a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future for all. In the Consultation Workshop, DUT provides the opportunity for urban research and innovation experts to critically reflect on and challenge the strategic development of the DUT Roadmap for the next years. Discussions will encompass thematic aspects, such as the DUT multi-annual call agenda, and process issues, such as ideas for future funding calls and program setup towards transformative innovation. The DUT team will present the state of roadmap development and run several interactive sessions, in order to achieve tangible recommendations. There will not be a call for papers. A detailed agenda will be closer towards the conference. Participation in the workshop is possible both online and on-site in Rome. If you want to participate in the conference on-site sign up here. Information on how to register for online participation will follow in due time.
